The Endangered Species Report was scheduled to be due on Thursday this week, but I have agreed to push back the due date to Monday, April 3rd. We have had Computer Lab time several days a week for the past few weeks, and we will have three days in the Lab this week, including today. A couple of students have let me know that they need extra computer time at school, so I have made sure they can work on the classroom Chromebooks as well. Please let me know if your child needs extra assistance.

Room 36 students have all been given LAUSD/gmail email addresses. These are secure student email accounts, made available to every LAUSD student. This allows your kids to log in to the Chromebooks at Brentwood, access Room 36's Google Classroom, as well as create, store and access their documents from any internet connected device! We're excited! (Students can access these accounts entering their information into the gmail login page.)
Room 36 students are working on two projects right now -- one in class, and one at home. I have moved the due date for the Group (poster) Project to Monday, March 27th. The Endangered Species Report is still due Thursday, March 30th. Students have been given time to do research online almost every day, and can use their LAUSD/gmail accounts to access the word processing feature.

It's Dr. Seuss Week at Brentwood Science Magnet! Today was Green Eggs And Ham Day, and tomorrow is Crazy Socks Day!
This week students will be bringing home instructions for their Endangered Species Report, which will be due at the end of the month. Students will have time to do research at school, but will need to write the report at home.
